Two builds matter. The February demo cannot carry a save into the full release. It remains available from the Steam library under properties, betas, and the February Demo branch. The October demo, updated for Next Fest from 19 to 26 Oct 2026, is closer to the opening of the full game and its saves can carry over. The studio FAQ and Next Fest announcement are from the same developer source family, not independent confirmations.

The October build added walking with a foal, Caprilli tests, new trail scenery, desensitization, face markings, and appaloosa patterns. Both demos stayed up after launch. One player reported a corrupted demo after release and received no replies. I mention that single report and stop there.
